Out of the Wilderness A Word from the Lord

Wilderness

I will indeed lead you out of the wilderness. The wilderness experience of these past years have been hard for you. Many of My people have been wounded and lost hope, and some have even lost faith. But, I say that in this season you shall regain all. You shall recover all that you have lost, and you shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. This I declare that I will bring blessings to you to demonstrate not only My goodness, but it shall be a sign that what I have spoken to you is true and shall come to pass. Encourage yourself. Encourage yourself! Forget those things that are behind you. Get ready for the great crossing-over, for you about to cross over into a new level of anointing, power and glory. There will be a greater demonstration of My kingdom, says the Lord. All that is required of you is to rise up and say, “I’m going! I’m going with the Lord. I’m going to cross over into the goodness of the Lord.”

Even if…

taking-the-leap

Do we really think about how Sovereign and awesome God is? Do we really think about how Holy and powerful He is?

God of the whole universe who is seated on this amazing throne in heaven cares about….US!

I am guilty of not always acknowledging the majesty of God or His Lordship over all things. As a matter of fact I tend to make the problems in my life bigger than God, not only this but I also tend to think about what I am facing more than the ONE whom I must face one day.

As I have been examining myself, I have found that I have been disappointed about the trials that I have had to face in my life. They seem repetitive and constant, which can be down right discouraging. As I was praying last night, the Lord said to me… Even if you never see the manifestation of the things that you have asked of me…would you still follow me?

This question ignited a dormant feeling of love and humility from the depths of my being.

I cried out with massive tears filling my eyes…..Yes God I LOVE YOU from my heart!

I felt as though it was one of my parents essentially asking…Do you love me? Can you trust me?

You see, God…this same Majestic God that is seated on a throne where angels are constantly worshipping Him, thought enough of me, this little woman from Marietta Georgia; to send His Son as a sacrifice to loose me from my bonds and pull me out of a pit, by dying on a bloody cross.

How could I not be touched by this act of sacrifice? How could I not love this God? How could I not follow this God?

This is my public response and declaration to MY God! My loving Father and Savior! My precious Holy Spirit!

Even if I do not see the things I have asked for

Even if I lose all that I have

Even if loved ones walk away

Even if I am persecuted

Even if I walk alone….just you and me

I will follow.

But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. 8More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ,…Philippians 3:7

I love you daddy God!

Run Til I Finish …. Encouragement for the weary!

When God calls you to your destiny,
He shows you the end result. He shows you the “vision” of what it is He’s calling you to. Often at first we are so full of passion and zeal to go at it like a gladiator running into the arena to face their opponent. But what happens when you get into the center of that arena only to find that your opponent is stronger, faster, mightier and more experienced than you? What happens when the unexpected happens?
When God told Abram that he would be the father of many nations He didn’t show him that he would have to wait until he was almost a hundred years old when he would have his “child of promise”. When God told Noah that a flood would come He didn’t tell him he would be scoffed at by his family and peers for nearly a hundred years before the first drop of rain would fall! When Jesus called Saul to the ministry He didn’t show him that he would be shipwrecked, beaten, jailed, and bitten by a rattlesnake!
Why is it that when God calls us to our destiny, we seem to think that we will NOT have to suffer? Paul said in Hebrews 5:8 of Jesus Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered! This word obedience in the Greek is the word Hupakoe which means,
1. obedience, compliance, submission
2. obedience rendered to anyone’s counsels, an obedience shown in observing the requirements of Christianity
When Christ submitted to The Father’s plan for His life He submitted to the suffering involved as well.
Paul said also in
Php 3:8
Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for * the Excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
The Word of God also tells us in Philippians
4:12
Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

4:13
But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy

Paul also said in
2 Co 12:9
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
You see that when we are on that road to destiny we cannot think that it will be without opposition, trial and suffering some things, however we do find that “place of trust” in the “valleys”. The word of God tells us that Jesus is called “the lily of the valley”. This would imply that the valley is where He reveals Himself to us in this way… not on the mountain top! We learn that God’s grace is sufficient in the valley; we find that God’s provision is revealed so sweetly in the valley and we learn to be more intimate with Christ in the valley! The Lord also endows us with supernatural strength when we are weak. The joy of the Lord is truly our strength and we should count it all strength when we face opposition, because it’s for our transition into the next level of glory for our lives.
Besides, I truly believe that if God were to show us all the “mess” in the middle of our destination, we wouldn’t want to go through it, we would cave in and quit.
I would rather be like Paul when all is said and done …
Hebrews 12:1
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.
2 Tim 4
4:7
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

4:8
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

I’m going to run til I finish! Will you?
