Rebuke and Condemn Evil!

open rebuke is better than secret love

There is a strong difference between judging and rebuking.  The distinction is that rebuking seeks to CORRECT the offender rather than condemning them. Unfortunately, many offenders take issue at being corrected and prefer to turn it around and accuse the rebuker (or victim) of wrongdoing rather than admit they were wrong and change their own behavior.  Although the Bible does tell us not to judge one another, it also instructs us very clearly to rebuke those who do evil, as well as those who hurt us.

Another way of looking at rebuking vs. judging is that rebuking involves facts, while judging involves assumptions. Here is an example:  when you disapprove of/protest/confront an abuser for behaving in ways that hurt other people (fact), and he responds by accusing you of not being a good Christian (assumption) (because you are confronting him, not honoring him, or for whatever reason), then you are rebuking him, but he is judging you.

Jesus and the Apostles were very bold and rebuked and condemned evil. They even openly rebuked people in the church for doing evil, in order to strengthen the church… a few examples…

1 Timothy 5:20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. Luke 17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. 2 Timothy 4:2 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. Titus 1:13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith; Titus 2:15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.”
If we don’t warn someone in error to turn from evil, we are partly responsible. “Ezekiel 33:8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.”
Jesus was VERY bold openly!…
“Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.; O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things?; Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?; Thou hypocrite, ye have made it a den of thieves; Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.; Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified.”

It is a grave injustice to see a brother or sister entangled in sin and not address it in Love. Being politically correct or neutral when it comes to sin is not what God has called us to do.We must not be afraid of people or the backlash that comes from speaking the truth, when GOD is the one we must answer to.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father I thank you for helping us to understand that rebuking and condemning evil is a Kingdom command to strengthen your Bride. Help us to come into Unity of the faith Lord and stand firm against the onslaught of the enemy. Thank you for giving us the strength to humble ourselves to receive correction and instruction when it is necessary in our own lives. In Jesus name…Amen

Out of the Wilderness A Word from the Lord

Wilderness

I will indeed lead you out of the wilderness. The wilderness experience of these past years have been hard for you. Many of My people have been wounded and lost hope, and some have even lost faith. But, I say that in this season you shall regain all. You shall recover all that you have lost, and you shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. This I declare that I will bring blessings to you to demonstrate not only My goodness, but it shall be a sign that what I have spoken to you is true and shall come to pass. Encourage yourself. Encourage yourself! Forget those things that are behind you. Get ready for the great crossing-over, for you about to cross over into a new level of anointing, power and glory. There will be a greater demonstration of My kingdom, says the Lord. All that is required of you is to rise up and say, “I’m going! I’m going with the Lord. I’m going to cross over into the goodness of the Lord.”

Prophetic Word

Rise up in battle my beloved, for victory is assured!

It has been declared that my Word will not return void . I have given you power to defeat the enemy of your soul, the one who accuses you, taunts you and lies to you. He will be defeated, so take hold…but do more than that, Rise up and ride on the wind of my Spirit and ride upon the power of my Word. Rise up and allow the victory that is about to unfold become yours by faith! Call forth those things which you cannot see. Do so by faith and declare the victory., For surely it will come to you says The Lord Most High. Even though your life seems transitional, begin to think of the steps you take as foundational. Don’t think that your thoughts and words and actions are unimportant. what you do now will actually frame and give meaning to your future. Give thought and carefully consider what is going on in and around you…and respond according to the leading of MY Spirit says the Lord!
I am in charge! NOT flesh and blood. I myself will lead you into the next move of my Spirit. It won’t be engineered by your own “good ideas” or sense of religiosity nor will it be patterned after any other move. You will not only see my Glory, but you will experience my Glory in every aspect of your life and being. Yours is only to yield and let me take you into the realms of Glory says the Lord!
As I stated this visitation and the Glory that comes with it will not be controlled by men.

It shall be as it is written:
1 Kings 8:10-11 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy [place], that the cloud filled the house of the LORD,So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.
Our Part in this visitation must be the same as that which David spoke of:
Psalm 26:6-8 I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD: That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

My children, even though the world will be in disarray, even though the economic conditions of this world are not good…you will live within the confines of my blessings. Lift up your head and let your worship ascend.
Romans 8:18-19 The glory of God will bring forth the sons of Glory.
Ephesians 5:27 And the sons abiding in his Glory will become the glorious Church.
