You Haven’t Heard Enough…

feast-on-the-word-of-god-daily
Faith comes by hearing… Not having heard. Stay in the Word of God. We cannot assume that we can stand against the enemy on yesterday’s manna. Even if you’ve heard a particular scripture 7 times over… God has a fresh revelation for you in it NOW. Remember the children of Israel couldn’t eat the manna from the previous day. They had to depend on God for their DAILY bread. Keep actively hearing! He wants to sup with you today! God loves you!
Romans 10:17
New King James Version (NKJV)
17 So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Heavenly Father,
We ask that you would open our hearts and minds to understand the true treasure of your Word. We recognize that we do not know all there is to know of your Word. Forgive us for taking your Word as something ordinary….for taking your Word for granted. You said in your Word that the method in which Faith comes is through hearing and hearing by your Word. We set our hearts today to take the time to hear and not only hear but to act on it also. Thank you for your son, Jesus! The Living Word! Amen

Position Yourselves

Today is the day to rise up and take your Position in the Presence of God. We have been raised up and seated with Christ in Heavenly places. Far above ALL principality and power and might and dominion, and EVERY name that is named. This is a position of Worship which is our first response in battle! Yes, rise up in REST, rise up in the knowledge that Christ has already made your enemies your footstool! It is from this position of Worship and Rest that you are enabled to Rule in the midst of your enemies today!

Heavenly Father, teach us how to truly rest in your Presence today. Thank you for opening our eyes to our TRUE position in you! Thank you for your Mighty Arm that is daily extended on our behalf. In Jesus name.

No Self Allowed

capture

Self-appreciation and self-glorification for giving to those in need is sinful. Giving in and of itself is no good to God or you if it’s not done with the right intention. Ask yourself … Am I doing this because I love God? Or am I doing this because I love self-satisfaction and accolades? Choose your reward today!

Matthew 6:1-4
Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.

“So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Just One

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. John 13:34

The Lord has given us a great commission not only to preach the gospel and make disciples of nations but to also do something that can seem daunting…Love one another! You may ask yourself “How am I supposed to love everyone?”. Let’s remove quantity out of the equation for now and let’s just imagine if you surrendered your heart to love even just one individual. I challenge you today to pick someone…especially an enemy or someone that has caused you pain. Begin to direct your prayers, encouragement, and kindness towards them. Search your own heart during this time and just watch and see how God begins to open up your heart more and more, inspiring you to desire to share that same love and compassion towards many others. Be a faithful steward over the love that God has placed in your heart with at least one and experience the multiplication of opportunities to share it with all!

Heavenly Father, I thank you that your love resides in me by the Holy Spirit which you have given me. Because of that, I can walk in your nature and share it with whoever you place in my path. I thank you for the “one” that you have appointed unto me this day. Teach me each and every day to be alive and aware of every opportunity to reveal your love to others. In Jesus name let it be so.

A Warning: To the lying prophets in America

America IS GOING TO see the Judgment of God: Captivity, sword, famine, and death. Yet you say to the people in my name “Blessing, prosperity, safety and peace” and you were NOT sent. You are lying to the people and telling them that there will be no captivity, sword, famine or death.YOU WERE NOT SENT, NEITHER WERE YOU COMMANDED , NEITHER SPAKE I UNTO YOU! You prophesy a false vision and DIVINATION, a thing of NOUGHT…out of the DECEIT OF YOUR OWN HEART. Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name and I sent them not, yet they say “there will be no captivity, sword, famine or death”… BY CAPTIVITY, SWORD, FAMINE, AND DEATH…YOU WILL BE CONSUMED!

I hear the Lord saying…

Surrender this day to Me. Talk to Me, commune with Me, sup with ME.

I AM the keeper of that which you hold dear. I AM the sustainer of ALL things!

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:1-3)

Abide in the secret place in the shelter of the Most High.

Love: The foundation of our Faith

He that Loveth not knoweth not God; For God is Love.

                                                                                                           -I John 4:8

In this passage the Scripture states that God is Love. It also states that if we aren’t Loving others, we don’t know God. This is a bold and challenging truth that we must understand fully in order to walk in it.

But what is Love exactly? Is the scripture speaking about a human type of love that weakens when people stop acting the way we would like them to? Maybe it is speaking about benevolent goodwill towards others. If we take a look at the Greek word for love in this passage, you will see the word agape. Agape means the love of God or in simpler terms, the God kind of love.

What is the God kind of love?

As a believer in the Lord Jesus, it is always best to let scripture interpret scripture. First Corinthians 13 gives us the answer:

 I Corinthians 13:4-8 (Amplified)

4 Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.5 It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentfulit takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].6 It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.7 Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].8 Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]. As for prophecy (the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), it will be fulfilled and pass away; as for tongues, they will be destroyed and cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away [it will lose its value and be superseded by truth].

In my next post we will dive in to the individual characteristics of agape Love.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank you for shedding your Love abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which you have given to us. We ask that you open the eyes of our understanding concerning what you have already done, so that we may walk in it fully, showing your love to the world.

In Jesus name, Amen.
